Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Yes, for individual clients only. I am able to bill Premera, Lifewise, and some Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans through a third party.

The insurance network's directory may or may not be accurate so it is best to call your insurance company directly to confirm I am in network. To do so, call the member services number on your insurance card and give them the NPI (1134808066) and Tax ID (42-292665).

If I am not in your insurance network, I can offer superbills that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement.

I do not take insurance for relationship therapy.

What if I can't or don't want to use my insurance?

If your insurance offers out-of-network benefits, they may reimburse you some of the fee. In that case, you pay the full session fee at the time of the appointment and receive a superbill (aka receipt) once a month that you send to insurance. Reimbursement fees vary by plan so be sure to confirm with your insurance company whether and how much they will reimburse you.

Some people don't want to use insurance to maintain privacy. Insurance requires that I submit a diagnosis, treatment plan, and progress notes to demonstrate that therapy is medically necessary.

I do offer some sliding scale spots for individual and relationship clients. Please don't hesitate to reach out if paying the full fee is not feasible for you.

Fees and Payment

My fee is $150 for individuals and relationship clients. I do offer sliding scale spots for clients who need a lower fee. Payment is made at the time of service via credit or debit card through Sessions Health, a HIPAA compliant payment and records platform.
